About me

Who is Gordon?

Hello. My name is Gordon Schoenfeld. I grew up in Providence, Rhode Island and went to Georgetown University for undergrad. After 6 years in Operations at Goldman Sachs in New York, Tokyo, and Salt Lake City, I am now pursuing my MBA at the Yale School of Management. For the summer between my two years of study here, I did my internship in Finance at Rosetta Stone. No, I can’t get you a free sample.

I love (read: am absolutely obsessed with) languages and all things linguistics, and I have a passion for international travel… I’ve lived in Japan for nearly 4 years and been to 50 countries and counting. I can read Wikipedia for hours on end. Honorable mentions include: skiing, volleyball, trains, trivia, comedy, and cuisine. I prefer cats over dogs, Snapchat over Instagram, Macs over PCs, and the Oxford comma over the absence thereof.

Please check out my blog and share your thoughts, and use the contact buttons below to message me – I’m happy to chat about whatever!

These are some of the things that have been said about the photos I’ve taken during my travels. Enjoy the randomly-ordered new-age mosaic-y gallery below – I never use filters! But don’t share them without attributing them to me.
